Since making their Los Angeles debut on our series five years ago, the Dover's rise to the top has been "practically meteoric" (Strings). Now included among the most in-demand ensembles and considered "one of the world's finest young string quartets" (The New Yorker), they return to the Pompeian Room with their "expert musicianship, razor-sharp ensemble, deep musical feeling and a palpable commitment to communication" in Dvorak's Quartet in A-flat (Op. 105) and Schubert's monumental final quartet (in G, D. 887). "The Dover Quartet players have it in them to become the next Guarneri String Quartet" (Chicago Tribune).
