 Trio Cavatina

|
Harumi Rhodes, violin; Priscilla Lee, cello; Ieva Jokubaviciute, piano
Among the clean, elegant lines of David Martin’s masterfully constructed residence nestled among the oaks of the Camino de Robles, the dynamic Trio Cavatina will communicate
the essence of the repertory chosen for this concert “through a sound of great refinement and presence” (Philadelphia Inquirer). Winners of the 2009 Naumburg International Chamber Music Competition, Trio Cavatina make their Los Angeles debut with two trios by Beethoven, including his powerful Trio in D, Op. 70, No. 1, known as the “Ghost,” and six marvelously romantic studies in counterpoint by Schumann (6 Canons).
