Concerto Köln

Thrill to the vibrant and exhilarating concerti of Handel, Vivaldi and Telemann, when one of Europe's most celebrated Baroque orchestras performs under the magnificent 90-foot-high dome (70 feet in diameter!) of a 1907 Beaux Arts landmark. Experience the splendor of the Baroque when “those wonderful Early-Musickers of Cologne” (New York Times) offer “an exhilarating authentic-band experience” (Classic FM, London) – a fourteen-piece, Grammy award-winning orchestra specializing in “nuanced phrasing, little joie-de-vivre moments of flipped up grace notes, crisp articulation, inflections in loving color” (New York Times).

This concert is sponsored by Sally & Irwin Goldstein, and made possible in part by a generous grant from the E. Nakamichi Foundation.
