Nestled high in a Brentwood canyon, this modernist home "allow[s] luxury and the environment to live together" as it celebrates "the nexus between green living, high technology, and high design" (WIRED.com). Designed by a "Warm Modernist" whose residential architecture has been described as "the apotheosis of the California House", the Rochedale LivingHome continues Kappe's innovative work in pre-fabrication and sustainability design - as found in the first LivingHome. This home of today built for the earth of tomorrow welcomes the return of Da Camera favorite Peter Stumpf, principal cellist of the L.A. Philharmonic, as he continues his exploration of the solo cello repertoire in a program of twentieth-century masterworks by Dutilleux (Trois Strophes sur le nom de Sacher) and Britten (Suite #1).
Light artists reception.
