This season’s thrilling array of Grammy-nominated and multi-prize-winning “Friends” explores sextets of Brahms (in G, Op. 36) and Dohnányi (in B-flat) in “the stunningly handsome” Pompeian Room. Violinist Cindy Wu (The Da Camera Society's Artistic Partner) is joined by Schwartz Moretti, known for playing that is “breathtakingly rich in color” (St. Petersburg Times); Chen, a prize-winning violist with “tonal distinction and essential musicality” (San Diego Tribune); Reardon, an “elegant” and “virtuosic” (Classical Voice) Grammy-nominated violist; cellist Canellakis, a “superb young soloist” (The New Yorker); and Wiley, the Grammy-nominated former cellist of the Guarneri Quartet.
