Ebčne Quartet

Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, a charming Spanish Colonial-Revival building with a storied past welcomes the Los Angeles debut of a prodigiously talented and multi-prize-winning young French quartet. For the continuation of our Beethoven quartet cycle, the Ebčne Quartet performs Beethoven’s first quartet (Op. 18/1 in F) and one of his last (Op. 131 in c-sharp), along with the first Rasumovsky quartet (Op. 59/1 in F). “Here is a gifted young string quartet with something urgent and individual to communicate. This is playing that combines refinement of shading and nuance with a sense of controlled danger.” (Daily Telegraph). Linger and meet the artists at a light reception following the concert.

The Ebčne Quartet has canceled their performance due to illness. Replacing them will be the Alexander Quartet performing the same program. For info on the Alexander Quartet click on About the Artist(s) on the right side of your screen.
